Ferret did you warm up to the FZ-07? After the Demo Days ride in June I thought you weren't a fan. Personally, I absolutely loved its riding character, but have to admit I'd have to sneak up on it blindfolded as far as looks go.

Just a little (lot) too "[url=http://store.nike.com/us/en_us/pd/air-jordan-xxxi-mens-basketball-shoe/pid-11189232/pgid-11880511]Nike Air Jordan XXXI" for my tastes (and age).
The NC700X is such a gorgeous bike...

...but at 32.7 inches it would be a tall seat for my short inseam. I'm not a huge fan of that motor from an excitement perspective but it gets the job done. I rode an NC750S from Stuttgart through the Furka Pass in Switzerland. My main beef for touring was the fuel filler under the seat (required luggage removal), but the front trunk "frunk" almost made up for it. The front brake was poor. My rental was an ugly bike, though: black and white with black wheels.

The 2017 FZ-07 is available with optional ABS for $300...smart money for a winter bike I'd say. The dark color scheme looks compatible with winter mess.
