Thanks, Treedoc. Dry California roads (albeit crumbling) and indoor parking on both ends of my commute help to make my weird compulsion to keep my bikes spotless a little easier. A good wipe-down with detail spray a few times a week gets the job done.
The Angel GTs are a big improvement in handling over the stock BT54s my bike came with. It was a quick learning curve to adjust to easier lean-in on turns. Lets see how long they last.
Last night, I moved the Pirahna to my Bonneville for my ride in this morning. A bit damp with foggy weather. It had the same effect on the Triumph - blocking air to the top of the chest, allowing wind to hit the neck and come up under the chin, otherwise very comfortable. Visually, I think the Piranha blends a little better with this bike, maybe because it's a black screen on a black bike.
In summation, between the Classic and the Pirahna, both will keep the wind off of your chest, with a tad more wind protection from the Classic.
When I can coordinate to get my new Marlin from the seller, we'll see how that works.
