Thanks for the link Novice, saves me searching for it, the way i see it is very simple; if it makes you smile the bike is right for you.
Recently i clocked up 65 years and as a celebration i bought a new cb1000r, in red, of course.
It works for me even if i will never use the top end because it's too scary for me but i enjoy the grunt and ease of riding it around here, i can handle it with ease now and could not think of a good reason to wait and there is such a wide choice in bikes right now, i would liked to have an mv but don't need the gamble mechanically whereas with the Honda.........
There was an older guy at the supermarket with a nice yellow ferrary, popped the front bonnet, placed the groceries in it and waved goodbye when i put my thumb up, good job, many older riders can enjoy these fast things even if they never use the limits, you can drive in great style though and look the part.
On another note if you have such a strong machine it has a virtually unlimited life cycle because you only tickle it mostly, you go and enjoy the bike mate
