I have mentioned this in other threads, but you might try a foam bleacher pad. I bought a black one so that it would blend in and strapped it to the seat, and it made a world of difference. The pad was only $6 and it took the strain off knees and hips for me. When I do long trips of say several hundred miles, then I add another pad. It makes it easier on the rear as well. When I try to ride w/out any pads, I immediately feel cramped and the tightness returns after a short ride.
Or buy that Scrambler! That is sweet looking bike, Richard. I must try one some day.
