Oh jeez. Thats super unfortunate. I cant see what damage he posted but tbh my concours wasn't seriously damaged. It was still practically Ridable. The thing is with used bikes and insurance claims though, they're so easy to just total out and trash. I took their payout because it was more cash than id have gotten in trade value for the bike before the accident, so it was a good deal for me.
As far as irresponsible riders being out there....yea they're worthless. The thing is I would NEVER put my CB up on riders share, nor any other bike im sentimental about. The reason I have a second bike is that it can be a bike I dont care about. That way when the worst happens (remember, my Vstrom got run over by a fertilizer truck..) it happens to another bike and NOT my precious CB. It's no skin off my back that I lost the concours, because I just got something else. But if you care about your bike in any emotional way, definitely do not put it up on riders share.
