New Bike in the stable R 1200 GS

I have the frugal cousin of the GS, a 2003 Suzuki V-Strom 1000. So far, I'm liking it. I call it my country bike, cause it has the adventure tires, windshield and seat of a long-legged machine. I like my CB 1100 for city (suburban really) riding 'cause it's light and nimble for running up down Pacific Coast Hwy and really good at lane splitting, legal here in CA.
