His opinion PowerDubs, and he's entitled to express it
Ive only owned 2 bikes on his list, an 06 ST 1300 which I also found to be a comfortable competent tourer. My wife also loved it.
I had 2 HD Sportsters..a 59 and a 94 ( eerily similar although 1 shifted on the right, and 1 on the left, had an electric starter, belt drive and a disc brake.) Both were very narrow, felt somewhat powerful, and vibrated badly over 55 mph.
I do remember test riding the CX 500 and thinking its power was like getting hit in the butt by a marshmallow. I also felt that way about a Breva 750 and V7 Guzzis, which I preferred over the power of the Ninja 300 and the R3 Yamahas I rode which I considered totally gutless. However there are fans of the Breva, V7, Ninja and R3 who think I'm out of my mind.
And talking gutless my NC 750X is not exactly terrifying to ride, but over on the NC forum that opinion will get you strung up or pitch forked.
