But that’s off topic and I’m not going to spoon feed you. Go Google because apparently you missed a lot.
As far as why bikes / cars aren’t perfect from the factory?
None are- ever.
There isn’t a car or bike ever made that can’t be improved on.
Some of the reasons include- emissions, weight, noise, fuel economy and the biggest reason- cost.
Cost of design time, production time, parts, adding up to a higher vehicle price.
In this example- the stack kit + tune are well over 10% of what the bike retailed for.
Your average rider would be fine without it and happier for a cheaper bike.
Heck- the bike itself is a ‘factory’ model- so came with better suspension. additional features, different gearing and less weight than the normal model- at a higher cost.
Most people bought the normal bike.
This is nothing new…basic economy / free market 101 and if it upsets you that much, well I’m not the person to complain to about it.
I’d appreciate if we can leave it at that and let my thread get back on topic so others can participate.
