I'll be 66 this year, sold my CB1100 in July. If I'd bought a deluxe I'd probably still have it, consistently searched for the 6th gear. That and the lack of ABS led to my gradual disillusionment with the bike.
Primarily ride a Triumph with a Watsonian Squire sidecar, good for grocery shopping, ice cream runs with my dogs, and long rides wandering the state and national highway systems, I have an aversion to the Interstates - just never been a person to hurry up and get nowhere else.
Ride a CB500X on the backroads and gravel roads throughout SW VA, an ideal bike for 35 - 45 mph and 70 mpg.
