My wife was stopped at a red light in her Audi TT, 2-3 cars back from the front.
Some kid hit the truck behind her hard enough to shove it into her and badly damage both ends of the truck as well as crush the back of her car- he admitted on scene to being on his phone- and she still had to fight multiple insurances for well over a year for both the car damages, ambulance ride, hospital bills.... Ugh.
And yea- kid went to court with his mother and plead not guilty.....WTF.
