Like CIP said: remove the left side cover unplug the fuel pump wire connector! Remove the one 12mm bolt at back of tank! Lift up tank in rear there is one black hose just pull it off tank! At this time I move tank back about 2 inches and I use a rubber mallet to lay between the tank and frame so that I can get my and under the tank to remove fuel line. You can look under the tank from the rite side of bike and see the fuel line connector push the green tabs in and it will disconnect. You might get a little gas on ya but after that it want leak. The manual says pull the fuel pump fuse and let it run till it dies. Slide tank back a little more to clear the front mounting rubbers then lift front of tank off bike. It's a tight fit I tilt the front of my tank and back and forth. But it will come off. Unplug the 2 wire connectors on the ECM and the ECM has 2 clips one on each side ECM comes out very easy!! Best to remove tank with less fuel in it. It's heavy if it full of fuel. When you try to unhook the fuel line you will see why I use the rubber mallet to prop up back of tank. But you can do it. Just take your time. Don't scratch your tank. The hardest part is the fuel line.
