Closed means it makes contact. Continuity. VOM used for this.

You saved me typing it. This will most likely be what's occurring. Try taping the stand in the fully up position and jumping over some hump back bridges.

oh you got to be kidding me. why not just take the bike in and have em run a ct scan, er, that is, a ecu scan. also clutch switch could be the cause also dont this bike have a tipover cutout maybe thats it guess i been hanging around Breck too much and drinking about a gallon of beer
