While I don't know if the Hubris Oil had anything to do with the fact that my bike is now immobile, my mechanic did call me yesterday to say he thought it had more in common with the waste from a commercial deep fryer than automotive oil. He said he'd get back to me when he'd tried cooking some fries in it.
Maybe you can use it for Diesel fuel.(05-12-2015, 02:06 PM)JPX_imp Wrote: Your bike will be fine either way but personally I would change it out. The oil is probably still good for lubrication but it's also likely full of metal shavings from the engine breaking in over the first 380 miles. I did the first oil change on my bike at 200 miles and noticed the engine running a good bit smoother afterwards. Couldn't hurt to do it before a long ride.
Good idea I think. You'll have more peace of mind while on the road and that's worth a lot.
