Would I buy one? Nope. I've trained myself to cancel my signals after every use, even on my bikes with auto-cancellation, and also periodically poke the cancel button even when they're not on.
Me too. One time I showed my mom a GoPro video of a ride so she could see what it was like. Her first comment was, "Why do you keep pushing that button on the left every so often?"
