Were you experiencing bottoming, or excessive front end dive when braking that possibly a higher rate spring cured? Installing a higher rate spring can also cause the forks to ride higher in their stroke, which may improve the ride, is this possibly the case you are experiencing? Or did you change to lower rate springs, which would make the ride smoother? If you replaced your stock springs with springs that have the exact same spring rate I don't understand how the ride can be improved. Can you please explain why your new springs improved your bike - what exactly are the changes you are seeing?I have a '13 model and RaceTech recommends a 0.83 Kg/mm rate for the forks for me, 175 lbs. Is the stock spring 0.75 Kg/mm? If so, all I need is the damping mods, right? Looks like totally new rear shocks are needed, any recommendations? I like RaceTech, they performed magic on my old ZX9R.
Thanks.
