When you say “sometimes the pump works when turned on” do you mean it cycles sometimes and doesn’t others?

Flynrider reported an issue with his kill switch which caused a similar problem. There’s also been lots of discussion about old batteries here, http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=14443
