CB1100 as a traveller

As far as distance we have at least 1 member who has tagged all of the lower 48 states on his.

I could easily see that. I left at 8 and got home at 1:20. Would not have been a problem continuing on as if that were the half-way point.

As far as riding and commuting on my 13, I absolutely love it! I work 35 miles from home, 29 of it done on the expressway, and I also don't have a windsheild sheild. I do look from time to time, but haven't pulled the trigger....

2013 HONDA CB1100

Samurider has pictures of 2013's with stock wheels and the K10 tank and side cover. It looks just as good in my opinion. While you can go hog-wild changing out everything from wheels and fenders to exhaust and headlamp housing, the biggest bang comes from the tank and side covers in my opinion. The 2017 seat doesn't fit (well) with the K10 tank, so I replaced that also (and happen to like how it feels and the fact that it sits higher) but my understanding is that the 2013s can live with the stock seat. It's still not cheap, but it's also not completely outlandish (well, maybe it is, but I seemed to be able to justify it...)
