Provided all four filaments in the indicators are ok it could be an indication of a battery going out and/or a poor contact somewhere.
According to the diagram the right-hand e-flasher switch has the same three wires as the left hand one, the left hand connects either the left or the right hand indicators as desired but the right hand switch just connects the flasher feed ( grey ) to both left and right hand indicators at the same time ( double pole switch ), i suspect the right hand switch contacts, could be worth a "spritz" with contact cleaner and some back and forth mechanical action.
Hope this helps, cheers

When I get on the bike, it's a good opportunity to give all of my lights a quick test since I can see both front and back. This sounds political to me !
Lately, when I hit the four-way flasher, only the left lights come on for a few seconds, then the right side lights join in. Does that sound normal?
... as well as a right-handed flasher in the mix too!
