Does the stuff in the Triumph bottle make you handsome, or is it to be applied only to the faces of the handsome?

Triumph would argue that they can’t prove the former because only the handsome ride Triumphs.

Pic is from our basement bathroom which I designed and decorated to resemble a country club locker room — it’s adjacent to our seriously underutilized fitness area. The Osage Rub, Aqua Velva, and Right Guard are part of the experience. I’m adding Clubman Talc and Bay Rum aftershave to the collection. Maybe Old Spice, too. I use these items now and again, but I have my regular deodorant and cologne in our main bath.

I ride a Triumph, and yesterday when the lady at the TSA checkpoint had me pull down my mask to verify my face with my I.D., she said I look like Sean Connery.

Last few years of Sean Connery, but I took the compliment.

My old boss in my magazine days doused himself in Aqua Velva. When you screwed up, he’d chew you out, then give you a hug and send you back to work. You’d spend the rest of the day reeking of Aqua Velva, and everyone else in the office knew you’d gotten in trouble for something.

Im in North Texas. We have hot summers.

I've been happy running 10w30 Rotella T5 semi synthetic for the past two years.

10w40 causes valve ticking noise in my 2014 standard.

The first year I just thought that ticking sound was normal for this bike.

After 4000 miles the Honda 10w40 came out looking like burned watery coffee.

With a similar interval the T5 10w30 looks much better, retaining viscosity and transparent amber hues.

Recently Rotella introduced a full synthetic T6 in 10w30, but the T5 seems to work very well in this bike, so I'm hesitant to try anything different.

The MOM says 10w30. If you're in Phoenix maybe you'll want the 10w40, but here in Texas, the 10w30 seems to do just fine... Year round.

Both my Hondas, Yamaha, mower, side by sides, and tractor get Rotella T6 15w-40. And they run fine so it must be awesome oil!

My CB1100 ran noticably louder on the 15w40. It was louder on 10w40 too, but I didn't notice it until I switched to 10w30 and my engine became nearly silent.

I actually had someone ask me if my bike was electric because they couldn't hear it idling.

Yes, it's that quiet.
