Best I found was Progressive. $267 for the year, but it depends on the options you pick. They have 3 preset levels of coverage, or you can customize. I went with their mid-level option.

No doubt. They say that if you don't stop to look back at your bike, as you walk away from it, then you bought the wrong one! I can hardly back my truck out of the garage each morning, as I stare at mine...

Too many variables at work to compare your quote to what each of us pay. Different states, different areas within a state, age, marital status, whether you have one or more than one bike insured....driving history, credit history, claim history, and on and on. DGShannon's $267 would cover me in New Jersey for only half a year. And that's with multiple bike and good driver discounts!

The CB is very inexpensive to insure. I just renewed my policy at 124.50 for a full year (Allstate) with liability and comprehensive (no collision) and my XX Blackbird is 187.40 with the same coverage.

Hi, regarding ergos. I am 5 10 and I found that my knees were bent a bit too much for comfort. I put highway pegs on it, much relief. Looking into a taller more cushy seat, to make it perfect. The little things makke it yours. Overall I am in love with Rhonda the Honda(Cb 1100). Looks perfect, handles like a much smaller machine, super refined easy to live with motor. I get compliments everywhere I go.

Stratman...what kind of highway pegs did you put on the bike? Any pictures??
Entropy, I'm 6ft with a 34" inseam... I had a 13 first and thought the seat to peg distance was a bit tight. Not terrible... but not spacious either. This year I traded for a 14 DLX and it is a bit bigger. I can't say how much, but it is different. I traded bikes with SanPete (another forum member) a few weeks ago getting off my bike and getting right on his 13 and I could feel the difference immediately. I'd like to put highway pegs on it so I could spread out a bit on the highway but haven't figured out which ones yet. So for my money, the 14 DLX would probably 'fit' you better than the 13 or the 14 STD. Good luck with your decision. It's a great bike!!

If I get the CB I want the ABS. They are tough to find used. I did find a leftover 2013 ABS for $9949. That is the lowest the guy could go as honda is not offering any incentives for leftovers.

I have not tried pricing out the 2014 yet, are there any incentives for the ABS version?

You can find good deals on the non ABS version, but as I said I want ABS.
