I guess I'm like most here, very happy with their current CB1100. My Black Beauty 2014 STD is something I would not trade for any bike, especially if they discontinue the line and she becomes one of those bikes that twenty years from now people drool over, especially if she was well kept. Right?

Hopefully we'll find out in the next month or two. That's what I'm waiting for. I've made the decision to pick up a CB1100 but am waiting to hear about 2015 options. Cheers, Joe

Prediction: 2015 will be skipped and move to 2016 models. My hope is that the 2015 is released. Sunburst orange, white, or blue would be nice. Maybe they should consider getting rid of Standard and Deluxe and just make the Deluxe. Seems to make more since to have one model to reduce costs/complexities in production.

You would think by now we all would know something. Honda really holds it back. Not happy about it either.

Like the white, black, and yes, orange would be awesome. And any other color, too. I would love to see the DLX in black, like this one. Love the combination of black, chrome, & aluminum! But I for one do really like the silver Comstar-type wheels over the spokes.

The more colors and so on, the more demand there needs to be for the bike and that demand is not there. Kids still want sport bikes and older people are buying adventure and cruiser. Honda also has the CTX and NC bikes which broaden the overall market as well.

When I was at the M/C show on Sunday there was a crowd around the CB1100 and a salesman telling everyone about the bike. I had to wait quite a few minutes for an opening to ask him if he heard anything about 2015.
The bike still draws a crowd, so it seems to me it still has potential buyers. |
