A fun fact that portends an interesting weekend:
collated the race times for the first five races of the season: Taking crashes and errors into account, the Honda has actually improved since last year, completing the races over a second faster than in 2014, on average. Unfortunately for Honda, the Yamahas are nearly 14 seconds quicker than they were over races last year, and Ducati are over 19 seconds faster!
It's been a tough season for Marc Marquez. Things don't look to get any easier, especially with Lorenzo on a roll.
If Marquez doesn't do well, I'm pulling for Rossi.

Arrgghh Su day will be a travel day for me. Having my brother record the race. I will watch it Monday or Tues even though I will look up who won as soon as I get home.

Qualifying just completed, with Iannone grabbing his first ever MotoGP pole! Dovi put the second Ducati in third with Lorenzo sandwiched in between. The Ducati keeps showing us good things, and you can bet Iannone will do everything he can to take it home in first tomorrow.
But, Rossi is down in 8th, and we all know now what he tends to do when he qualifies in 8th...
Marquez is in trouble down in 13th, and I would say Honda in general is really having a tough time this year.

That is amazing for Iannone esp with the injured wing. I will be on the road all day to orrow but will watch it when I get back. Don't tell me who won... I kid!

One race team has got to be worrying after today's results but their options for the rest of the season seem to be limited.

Lorenzo is getting on a roll now. He rides so well with the lead. That battle for second place was really entertaining!

Finally had the chance to watch the race, fantastic. Rossi did a great job to net a podium finish. Lorenzo is looking better every race.
