My entry into the Darwin Awards (Oklahoma trip)
#1

I was hoping for a three or four day weekend, but the temperature dropped and thunderstorm predictions became more unpredictable. But took some fun photos ... let's start with the title clickbait ones ...

Obviously I survived, though some action camera footage will be uploaded soon featuring an encounter with a bull. Here's the locale ...

Some assorted ...

The magic hour, catching reflections in the paint ...

I just had enough room for this strudel I bought in Muenster, Texas ...

"Artillery may be fired over roads in this area"

Sounds like the start of a great trip!

Fun re-cap! So ummm what that a cop that passed when you pulled over to get (too?) close to the bull?

Just a car with a bike roof rack. Cops in that area drive pickup trucks or SUVs. 30 to 45 mph limit strictly enforced. Pulling over for animals? Highly tolerated. Smile
In contrast, here are some photos of the same area in 2015 when I had my CBR250R. More buffalo roaming around freely (varies with each visit ... they were far off in the distance on my recent trip).

Also, you could drive up nearby Mount Scott for a scenic view ... it was closed and the ranger said it was "broken" and will be closed for a long time, perhaps permanently. I guess the spiral road around the mountain suffered from structural erosion.

That makes at least 3 of us, you, me, and Stichill who have had the CBR250r and the CB1100. Stichill still has his and I'm jealous
