My entry into the Darwin Awards (Oklahoma trip) - zbillster_imp - 05-05-2019 I was hoping for a three or four day weekend, but the temperature dropped and thunderstorm predictions became more unpredictable. Cops in that area drive pickup trucks or SUVs. 30 to 45 mph limit strictly enforced. Pulling over for animals? Highly tolerated. ![]() In contrast, here are some photos of the same area in 2015 when I had my CBR250R. More buffalo roaming around freely (varies with each visit ... they were far off in the distance on my recent trip). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also, you could drive up nearby Mount Scott for a scenic view ... it was closed and the ranger said it was "broken" and will be closed for a long time, perhaps permanently. I guess the spiral road around the mountain suffered from structural erosion. ![]() ![]()
