Photobucket picture hosting changes
Wow, what magic is this Guth?!?

I just saw your post of 10/27 and downloaded that plug-in into Chrome and I can see old photos again! Whoever wrote that plug-in is owed by all of us! I'd send some money if they asked for it.

I wonder if Photobucket will try to do something to break the plug-in.

Possible fix for Google Chrome and Firefox users (copied from another forum):

Quote:Go to the three dots on the right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again.

For FireFox users, click on the three bars on the right side of the screen, then click on add ons. Click search for "photobucket hotlink" and click install. Same result.
Haven't tested myself as I use Opera browser.

EDIT: Just realized Guth already posted but hey, there's no such thing as over-communication!

The only photos I can't see anymore are ones on Photobucket that I suspect were deleted by the user after Photobucket made its policy change.

Well after photbuckets attempt to extort ransome from me, I started deleting my photos from there since no one could see them anyway. May e I will leave the ones that are left if you guys can still view them by other means.

If anyone comes across a similar fix for Safari, would they please post a link? The Chrome fix works brilliantly.

I can now see this forums PhotoBucket photos Smile

Just installed lastest version of Firefox and added in the following add-on via the Firefox Add-ons Manager:

Photobucket Hotlink Fix by BridgeTroII,
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...ucket-fix/

The addon web site states there is an add-on for Chrome also.
