A new accessory Moto Skiveez
#1

So on one of the posts about seats on the CB a few weeks ago somebody had linked this sight http://motoskiveez.com/ and asked if anyone had bought a pair. I read a few reviews on the underwear and so I ordered a pair of the adventure style. Tonight was the first time I have ridden on my Deluxe since ordering and receiving them. I am pretty impressed as I rode about 100 miles tonight and it was the most comfortable ride for me yet on my bike. 59.00 is not cheap for underwear but certainly cheaper than a new seat and they are priced like bicycle shorts.

Are they hand washable in a sink and able to be hang dried over night do you think?

I was literally placing my order as you typed this post. LOL Can't wait for a complete review, but this is one of one rare cases where I don't need pics to prove that it happened.

I use Cycle Gear's Heat Out base layer riding shorts. At $9.99 a pair, I can get 6 pairs for the price of one Moto Skiveez.

3k mile tour in 2013 and a 5k mile tour this year and they worked absolutely great. Don't know if they kept my tush any cooler, but they were comfortable no matter how long or hot the day was.

Of course, the Heat Outs are not really the same product at all, but it's great that they work for you. I tried them and didn't like the fit, plus they're really no different in performance than the Underarmour boxer-jocks that I already own.

Moto Skiveez are better compared to padded bicycle shorts in both function and cost.

I used their T-shirt Heat Out and it worked great as far as I can tell. Never tried the shorts though.

No, they were not designed for that.
The space-age padding is sewn onto the garment and can't be removed.
It will soak up some water during washing and takes some time to dry out.

I don't think they will dry overnight unless it is a really dry climate. I rode with normal underwear under them though I am not sure that is how they are designed. I will say it made the one hour point much nicer for me. I will say though the CB Deluxe seat is no worse than the BMW RT's I had. They were a tad more expensive new as compared to the CB and the seat was ugly. At least I have the comfort of knowing my seat is pretty.
I do want to add that I don't have a lot of natural padding and my hot point seems to be always the left side of my bottom on all motorcycles. I think Sean at Moto Skiveez recommended a cruiser style for my CB but I went with the adventure style. I think if I order a second set I will order a cruiser style for a back up set. Anyhow they came quick and there response via email to my question about style was fast.

Hah! Btw I would buy another pair. I was kind of surprised how well they work. It ain't the total answer but it certainly a help. You know I tried the Airhawk on one of my bikes and I never liked the feeling of it on the bike. I know some guys like the Airhawk but it wasn't for me. Anyhow I would give it a try.

Perfect timing to get some reviews on this product. I'm heading to MI for a 150mi ride two-up and was racking my brain for how to make it a comfier ride without breaking the bank AKA a new seat. I have the '13 standard so the seat is very sub-par for long rides.

So the ADV set is the best bet for our bikes? How about for my passenger? Would they do well with a cruiser pair if I have a backrest so they will be lounged back more?
