I'll be interested to hear how you find it at speed.

That's what I was thinking when I saw the second to last pic. But if you look at the pic before it (view from the seat), you can see that the rod ends are well above the top of the tank.

So they are. Well spotted.

The MRA Vario looks good on the CB1100.

Looks like the mounting kit is the "Long" version.

I wonder if the standard length rods would be long enough?

Anyone know the length difference???

Thessler3. I think those rods could be cut of with a hacksaw then put the rubber tips back on. But if the shorter ones would work and not be to short then yes. But I don't think anyone knows that much about the mounting kits as of yet.

Hello hello. Sorry for the late reply. Good eyes guys! Youre right the rods are about 10 cm away from the tank.

Please also note that I've got the lower handlebars so there's not much room to place the plastic fittings on the handlebar. They are now right next to the risers. If you have the standard handlebar I'd suspect you can put the fittings higher and effectively change the angle of the screen.

The handlebars are at full lock in the picture here

I say it looks great! I would put me a mark on the rods remove them cut them of and put back on! Is your bike a 13 or 14. Looks like a 13. Nice pic. And thanks for sharing with us

Thanks Ridem32. Its actually a 2010 model (I'm in Oz) but I think its the same as the 13 model in the US.

No freeway riding yet guys it has been a bit wet in Sydney... I'll get back to you when I've done a proper ride.

Cheers

Really wet here too. Did you get a chance to take a long ride? I am very interested in buying the MRA VArio but like to hear other people's opinions first.
