Ditto.
I'm 6'0". Not sure that the screen being even taller is the solution; it may just be the design.
I actually prefer the look of the touring screen, myself. It was so bad (for the above reasons), I took it off after one outing.

Im agree Papa, I like the look..i dont find it that far off from the regular screen actually (in looks) - the noise is a drawback but overall I like it and will run with it for the season..esp like the fact that highway riding is easier w/ the touring screen..

I switched from the touring screen to the normal size screen.

Reason was the noise level. And tbh, the looks.
You can see lots of pictures in the link of my signature.

Also, the bike looks more handsome on our bikes with the stock screen.

Big advantage with the touring screen is the wind protection, you can really hit max speed without many wind if you lay on the tank.
But if you sit normally on the bike, than you will experience a lot of wind noise.

With the stock screen the wind noise is less because you got a cleaner airflow.
But you do get 100% wind on your helmet/face.
With the touring screen, the wind flow is higher and cuts in my helmet/face in normal upright seating position.

For reference, I am 1m84.

So none is 'perfect', but comparing pros and cons, I went for the stock screen.
Maybe in winter time I am gonna switch to the touring screen.

interesting observations Rico. thanks for sharing.
im going to stick with the touring screen for the season as its allowed me to add a new dimension to my riding ...higher speeds, and highway travel..2 things I avoided last season due to the stock screen.
cheers!
PS..sorry about Belgium in the Euros Wink

than we (Belgians) can find comfort in the excuse that we were beaten by the future European Champions Blush

On a serious note, they have grinta! They play like a real team and it proves that effort and teamwork can outclass a "class" team even if you have all the talent in the world!

Go Wales!!!!

Riding without helmet or windscreen/windshield on my new CB,the only sound above 40mph is the wind rushing past my ears, not loud as it doesn't block tire noise from vehicles i am passing.Sportster windshield is top of head height and no noisier windwise, but easier on the face bugwise.80 on the CB is a chore due to wind pressure and tearing of eyes with high airflow under the sunglasses across the eyeballs.Goggles will be cheap temp fix until the vet bill is paid and money for a windshield becomes available. The top of head height windshield eliminates slipstream turbulence but does provide rotor turbulence although mild and from behind and sides.ie blows the hair on my head towards the face instead of toward the rear.

I'm looking at the RC2 for my CB. It's a standard 2014 black.
(This is my CB. There are many like it but this one is mine!)
I've been told there may be a difference between the RC2 for the standard vs the one for the DLX. Do you know this to be the case?

On Samurider it says it fits the 1100/EX/DLX 2014-2016 http://www.samurider.com/?p=18765/#itemImage

If still not sure, write Mr. T at contact@samurider.com

I can't really see why there would be a difference. It locates on the headlight mounting bracket so there shouldn't be any issue with mounting it.
