Yes, I think it is a good looking bike but it is not really competing with the Triumph, more like the 350cc RE's. A 350cc air-cooled motor Vs a 400cc water-cooled lump in the Triumph.

exactly I don't know why the Triumph is used as a comparison because in terms of engine character and performance it has absolutely nothing in common with this Honda and Endfield....only externally and that it is a 1 cylinder

I learned to ride on a Honda CB350. The first bike I owned was a Honda CL450. I have a Honda CB1100 now, and a Yamaha SV 1300.

If you can't cope with the lack of power of these 350 engines... well, personally, my 125cc bikes have been fine for me for a few years now. In a certain sense, it's also a question of character, and with the 350 long-stroke engines, I'm fascinated by their general character.

I have decided that the CB and the Monkey and Cub have to go. This way I don't have to spend extra money on them (GB) and I have space in the garage again... because I currently have 7 bikes...

IMHO the GB and SR looked like what they were, this reminds me too much of a japanese bike trying to softly ape a character of a british bike in style but w some cues from Indian motor design. I cant really put my finger on it.

I should like it, i want to like it, but there's just something... off to me.

ok , in this case somewhere an invisible unknown blockade..smile

best of both worlds, small nimble and can do 90 mph. Only goes as fast as you want it to. Biker rode it down the interstate to meet up w friends then go ride. this is my point. it doesnt have to be a performance turd to be ridden slow and enjoyably.

same reason i traded the XR150L in on the DR650. 95% of the time, i rode them both at the same speeds as i go the same places. BUT, when i i want to run down the highway, then go ride slow, i can.

IF that GB had 10-15 more HP, which is easily doable by the factory, then, yes, would be a lot more appealing.

Funny.. because that's what a LOT of people said about the CB 1100
