I am 42yrs, I've been here since about Nov 19, when I purchased a lightly-used 17RS.
I only ride the RS, I don't have much road experience (4yrs, 50,00km), but have been riding motocross/trail/farm bikes all my life. Previous bike was a CB500X. I am a kiwifruit orchardist, sheep/beef farmer, AOS operator, husband and father of 3 girls. [url=https://imgur.com/me5l0Iu]

*AOS=Academy Of Swag (my daughters current terminology, they 'helped' me with my post lol)
not to be confused with any other AOS meanings

Mate Im not even sure, I think it means strutting about the house! Bit of an in-house joke with the kids, I tried to edit it but was too slow..

Joined the forum in fall of 2016 when I got my '13 at the local dealer. Lurked for more than 6 months before that. Bike had about 1000 miles on it, now has 16,000 plus.
I didn't even know retro was a thing at the time, just loved the looks. I will turn 67 in December, returned to motorcycling after about a 25 year break. About a year before I got my CB I had to renew my drivers license and take a written test. I wasn't going to get the m/c qualification, but the guy at the DMV said "Hey, you might as well. Renewing is easier than starting fresh. You never know." How prophetic. Soon after the bug re-awakened in me and it has been a pleasure to get back on two wheels. Really enjoy the bike and the forum. Thanks to the moderators and to Guth. Glad to see you back in the fray, Sir! Ben
