I used the 2017 (rs model) grab bar for a cleaner look.

Quite a few years ago (at least 20) I saw a guy pull up on a Triumph 900 Speed Triple, in black, very nice. He had a similar set up, obviously home made. His number plate flipped up & down when he pulled a little lever he had rigged up. He proudly demonstrated it to us. It was around the time when speed camera's sprouted up all over the U.K. He put the plate down to razz past cameras because he thought it was funny. Not so funny when you go round a bend (in Lincolnshire) to find a big tractor coming out of a hedgerow to cross fields.......
