That map with the Yoshi Can is is off a 2014 standard. A member went out to Vegas and had his bike mapped by Power Commander. Honda changed the A/F ratio for the 2014 model ( different ECU #'s) and explains why where seeing a completely different map.
If the stock ECU mapping is so different from 2013 to 2014, why is Power Commander still only showing the one model number PCV (16-040) for both 2013 and 2014 CBs? (Note: only two maps are available from PC, shown below...)
Has it been confirmed that the stock 2014 ECU is mapped richer from Honda? Based on the two maps posted by kmoney, CIP57's explanation seems reasonable. But if the 2014s have a much richer ECU map, using the 2013 PCV map (16-040-001) would be adding much more fuel than the CB needs in the mid range. If so, would it be better to ask Power Commander to load the map made from a 2014 with Yoshimura RS-3 and Stock Air Filter (16-040-002) for use on all 2014 CBs? Would they even do that for a customer, or is it the responsibility of the end user to load and change maps from the stock default map (16-040-001)?
It would seem that several forum members are running either used or new 2013 PCVs on 2014 bikes with no issues. Which map(s) are you using and with what results?
Map No.: 16-040-001 (stock bike)
Map No.: 16-040-002 (Yoshimura RS-3, Stock Air Filter)
Your thoughts would be appreciated!
