Chain maintenance best practices?

I use that grime minister or whatever it's called (chain brush) and wd40 to clean the chain. Then Maxima chain wax to lubricate it. I like thdon't gain wax because it sticks well to the chain. Doesn't fling all over. There are probably other good methods.
