Ferret, good memory. Yep, I still have it, but it’s never been started or even had gas in it. It’s been sitting dry and dormant and on display in my home since it came out of the crate in 2004.
The five-month winter layover was referring to my R1200R, but GO is absolutely correct — a properly stored, fuel injected Honda would start up immediately just the same.

An identical one to mine, never started, just sold on eBay for $4800. That’s roughly what they cost when new.
