I don't watch much tv anymore--actually any. Don't get me wrong, I love watching movies / documentaries / series on netflix or youtube and can binge-watch novelas from Colombia with the best. But I can't remember the last motorcycle commercial I've seen.
A few from the past. I think I remember seeing two of these:

These days, I consider a "commercial" to be whatever ad plays on YouTube before the "SKIP" button appears.
I've seen a few Livewire ads pop up, but more Geico motorcycle insurance ads.
That ad with the blind guy is a classic!

Because dealers still can't get enough inventory of new bikes, there's not a lot of point to paying for ads for unavailable supply.
Can't sell the sizzle if there's no steak.

I watch the motocross and supercross races on TV (not sure which channel because my wife records them for me - she's in charge of the remote!) and they have motorcycle commercials all the time - all the japanese manufacturers.

Triumph still makes lots of "commercials." Theyre just for other products. When you see an ad for a feminine hygeine product and they do a scene where somebody is on a motorcycle looking cool..guess what its a bonneville. When you see a progressive motorcycle insurance ad theyre on daytonas and street twins. Heck...i even saw a commercial for a nissan SUV that included a scene where a triumph speed twin speeds up and blows by the SUV all dramatically. In the shot you can clearly see its a triumph.
This is their advertisement strategy. They dont make direct ads. They just find other people that are making an ad or a TV show with a part thats supposed to include "cool motorcycles looking cool" and they give them a free bonneville or two. Its genius honestly.
