AFAIK nobody here has real time EEPROM programming (known as a "dyno-tune") available to them. Its a completely moot point. Per the flash company (and contradicting you) you're still going to have to get a PC and tune.
Reprogramming ECUs is nothing new; its been done since the first chip controlled EFI systems came out decades ago. You don't have to be under 30 to know all about it. Its also not magic, it comes down to a guy in a shop writing his code over the factory code and hoping its better.
Somebody else is going to get this done, it'll be interesting to see if they have the same experience.
Well there are some windows in my garage, and I just went out there and flashed my ECU..
...let's just say the neighbours called the police.

Hiker: he told me (DON) that the honda bikes even the cbr1000rr are very restricted from the factory in all gears except the top gear. He says the timing is retarted very bad lots more than the gsxr he says he has done many many cbr1000rr and they will fly leave a gsxr behind! You know. & we all know honda is all about safety etc that's just how honda is. Even there honda 4 wheelers run forever but they want run with Polaris Yamaha etc! I just want my stock motor to produce what it should with the fuel system that's on it ! Stock pipes and all even my stock air box and filter! He wants CP to bring his bike to him he thinks he can get 10 to 15 more hp if he can get it on the dyno Anyways will let everyone know. He said should be able to do it in one day and overnite it back. He wants my shop manual I got the new 14 book and it has all the 13 & 14 wiring diagrams in it. He says when people find out how much these bikes run he will start getting more & more to do

It's pretty clear that the process is just not well-understood but as more of us get it done, and experience the results, as I have and as CIP57 has (his 140+ top speed run clearly shows a power gain as well as the limiter being removed, as 88 HP is not going to push that bike down the road at 140 mph), the waters will clear up and we'll be able to understand this better.

I agree. The process and its benefits are clearly misunderstood, as indicated by recent posts on the topic.
