Think I know the answer to this. Just want to make sure. It's cold and rainy for the most part here, and a few packages are arriving. I'm not quite making it to that 600 mile break in / tune up as quickly as I expected. Common sense leads me to believe I should wait until after 600 mile tune up to add the following. But I could be wrong. What do you think?
Arrow head silencer exhaust
DynoJet power commander

600 mile service is mainly for oil and filter. Those mods won't make any difference to the break in.

Agreed. No point in wasting the cold, non-riding, weather when you could be out getting your mods done!

Awesome. Thanks for the input. Anyone have any other relatively simple mods that I should do. ? Don't want to take on anything to intense off the get go, but i'm open to ideas.
K & N air filter ? anyone have a link?
Block Pair valve? Just got done reading that thread, and I'm pretty sure I won't be digging deceleration popping.

RLETs and fork boots, of course! Lower bars and different mirrors, if you are into the more cafe' look. BULP (Big Ugly License Plate) bracket removal.

I like the BULP mod, if there was only a place to buy that plate. I am no good at all at fabricating.

Thanks for the replies guys. I ordered the license plate removal kit from takashi after reading and seeing Lola's thread on the kit. It was a bit pricey, but I'm with ferret. I'm not good at fabricating metal. Nor do I have the time. Pretty excited about this showing up. Although it seems like I won't get it for a few weeks.
Fork boots will most likely happen at some point, but i'm more focused on the slip on exhaust / any other slight mods I should do at this point.

I like my license plate mount thingie. I suppose if one were just bored to tears you might think about trying new mounting schemes for your license plate, like maybe on the side like a Harley.
Something very important however. I would suggest if your bike is red painting it black. Most of us make that the priority mod.
