Single filament. On this bike the fronts will operate as a running light then burn brighter when used as a turn signal. No need for fancy dual filament bulbs. On the rear, it will run as a turn signal only.

Check the Lockhart Philips site for the wiring harness connectors which makes it a simpler plug and play install. Right now I can't recall if it was needed for both front and rear (I know that info is in one of these turn signal threads).

For the tail light Google "lucas style tail light" and you'll find a bunch of vendors and can even find it on eBay (where I got mine). Look closely at Chipbeck's version because there are two slightly different versions, I got the same one like his where the license plate mount is thicker.

After discussing with Chip I did the same as he did and just cut-and-spliced the stock tail light wires at the fender instead of trying to reroute new wiring all the way back to the wiring connector under the seat. Save yourself the grief and just cut, solder and shrink wrap the splices.

You will need to drill one (or two?) new hole in the fender to mount the new tail light so use the supplied gasket as a template for mark where the hole needs to go. Tip: When drilling your fender place a block of wood underneath to protect the tire JUST IN CASE your drill punches through faster than expected .... yah don't want to discover you drilled your tire, too!

Aloha,
Huladog
