Let's Make a Deal

I've been watching reruns of Let's Make a Deal lately, you know, the '70's TV game show with Monty Hall, Jay Stewart and Carol Merrill. Along with a bunch of lime green Plymouth Furys and white Chevy Vegas ("with air conditioning and radio"), they gave away quite a few bikes. Guess I didn't take notice back then. On the most recent episodes, they've had:

- 1973 Triumph Bonneville T140
- 1973 Yamaha DT250 and JT2 Mini Enduro 60
- 1973 Rockford Chibi 60
- 1973 Honda ST90

It's cool to see these bikes and to hear the retail prices from back in the day.

How funny. I used to watch that as a kid, too, and remember the car giveaways, but not the bikes.
I miss some of those simple old shows from the '60s and '70s!
