i have a good one for you guys. i installed a bazzaz zfi on the cb1100 and when we went to dyno it,everything was good until a little over 6000 rpm . the engine goes real lean and falls out. everything maps good until 6k rpm.we called bazzaz and they had not run into this.i am going to unplug the zfi tommorow and put it back on the dyne to see if it's in the bike or the zfi. has anyone else had a similar problem with their bike? it sounds to me like it might be a bad ECM unit. thanx , mitch

if you were in 5th gear you might have hit the speed limiter. (about 112mph). For dyno you can pull rear wheel speed sensor connection behind r. Side cover. Or run in 3rd gear.

it does it in 4th and 5th
when the speed limiter kicks in ,what does the engine do exactly?

It gets there in 4th but higher rpm....112mph. Don't know if it cuts fuel or spark or both but I think it starts misfiring and acceleration stops.

Unplug rear wheel speed sensor behind right side cover, run in 4th gear up to 8200 rpm. It is lean from factory. Can you adjust your tuner? If so richen it up when it starts falling off.

They should have given you a print out? I would like to see it if it's not a hassle to get one. No big deal if it is , just curious.
