Question about ABS brakes

I rode my ST1000 today and it has ABS brakes. To be honest the ST stops so much better than the CB. The CB to me don't brake like a linked system. My ST I can hit the rear brake hard at 60mph no petal pulsating at all and the bike comes to a stright fast stop. My CB hit the rear brake hard at 60 mph petal pulsates and front brakes don't seem to be linked. Maybe the Ferret will chime in about his 2 bikes being the same as mine. Has anyone else hit there rear petal hard at speeds above 15mph to see if their petal pulsates mine clicks pretty hard at the petal. I could stop quicker without abs on the rear for sure

Also the front brakes on the CB deluxe are great.

The new 2014 EX has "only" ABS, no C-ABS like the 2013 model, by the way...
