Counterfeit Oil Filters

Following up on this long thread. I purchased a Honda 15410-MFJ-002 filter about 4 months ago online from a Honda motorcycle parts website. The filter is the right height but has a H stamped on the bottom and the orange filter media. I also compared it to my Honda Car oil filter thatI only buy from Honda dealer sites and they are identical except for the height. The blue car oil filter is taller. I don’t believe that these could be counterfeit parts.

If anyone is looking for 15410 mfj D01 filters, I just bought 4 from ebay. Seller is ebvc and I was able to negotiate a deal in which shipping was free. Seller had 12 to sell so he may have 8 more.
