I know folks must be looking for these as you just aren't seeing them for sale anymore.

Weird. It's listed under Craigslist SF Bay Area, but the bike is in Long Island.

Hmmmm. Posted in SF Craigslist, the bike is supposedly in New York, but there are palm trees in the background of the picture. I'm not saying it's a bogus listing, but it surely has most of the earmarks of one.
Edit : Looks like the photos were taken at South Bay Motorsports (never knew there were a lot of palm trees in the bay area). Still odd that someone is trying to sell a bike that is supposedly on the opposite coast. That's a big Craigslist red flag.

The map location shows it on Long Island. That just smells all sorts a fishy to me.

This same adv was on the forum a couple of months ago. I remember questioning the existence of palm trees on Long Island.

I don't see where it says South Bay Motorsports, but that's in San Diego, which explains the palm trees. I used to take my Kawasaki Concours there for service. It's easy to post an ad on different Craigslist sites. This tells me they're simply not finding any local interest for the bike, so they've broadened their reach. A quick call would confirm if it's legit or not. For the price they're asking, it probably is -- that's a $7500 bike where I live.
