I'm not normally a fan of gold anything on vehicles. It may be the photograph but they look more brassish to me and I kind of like how they compliment the chrome and tie into the outline of the badge on the tank. Smart looking bike for sure.

Some musings. Do they airbrush anymore? Editing in software seems to be the norm now (many airbrush effects so functionaly the same....). Just struck me as I still think "airbrush" when I see stuff like that too.

Must be generational.
My old KZ550 had about 50hp and it was a rip snorter of a little bike. As long as the weight is low 48hp is plenty for most folks. At least on public roads.
I'd love to add that bike to my fleet but I have too many now and really I need something that handles my long inseam better - like an adventure bike. They don't nearly as nice as this bike, but they fit better. sigh........

Not a fan of gold on vehicles - agreed. More like anodized coloured gold - typically found on Italian sporty models appear more suitable. Some Norton Commandos look okay with some anodized components.
Airbrush - Yeah, implied was digitally "airbrushed" - whatever the equivalent word is ("photo shopped"? ... even that sounds antiquated).

Agreed, low weight, 48 hp should be fun to work with, especially around towns.

Each of them have the same frame, motor and 6 speed transmission. A 48 HP motor is suitable for something that looks like a 60s Triumph or BSA. But people here would expect something stronger for a modern café racer.
I like the looks of the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdYDVufxkV4]Interceptor. It reminds me of my 48 HP BSA Lightnings. If the Interceptor has the same torque as the BSAs, it will be pleasant to ride. The chrome tank with the large black stripe on the top and gold pinstriping would be my choice.
I wouldn't trade my DLX for it but I like it.
you should have bought a DELUXE
