Plan for the "scooter contingency".
If that were made by Honda, not BDR, I would consider adding to the existing CB ride????

Meh, for me it is not really about Honda. It is about the practical limitations of riding essence. Of course, this varies greatly for everybody.
It is perceived that Harley riders wouldn't be caught dead riding a scooter. But in reality, in its domain context scooters are incredibly fun to ride. I am sure many will say "trikes" are a blast to ride and certainly I have seen and heard them. Some emit a wicked, low-down, torquey tone. However for me, and somewhat like the Harley rider example, something is missing on the trike. Heck, I would even ride a lawnmower before a trike. I can't explain it. Currently I can't find the appropriate selection of words. Maybe, " ... like losing a testicle"? " ... like gaining a third testicle"? Is that too extreme? Again, seriously, I can't find the words to describe.

I'll put it this way, if you have one of those Sandcast CB750's, you'll have a good amount of money on your hands after selling the bike. Buy a scooter (mobility or other wise) if you like, or a trike, or a car, or at the rate things are going, at some point down the road maybe even your own retirement home where you can organize mobility scooter races without catching any flack for it.
