Gee, give the bloke a break. English is his second language and, according to nearly everything I've read here're provides a level of service that shames most European/American/Australian outlets. The moral is just ask him. If there's a way to help you, Mr T will find it.

I think you misunderstood the intent of my message if you thought I was giving him a hard time. I wasn't harping on him at all. On the contrary. I was excited to hear that the out of stock items were still available. I had figured that the bike was old enough at 7-8 years that demand for those parts was low enough that they were no longer being made or were available when they were listed as out of stock (hence the "don't bother" ordering).

Not deriding him in anyway. Full stop.

I noticed recently the amount or stuff he had listed was much less- did he go out of business?

I got my RC in February and they corresponded with me by email in late Feb. Can't get the website to come up today, but I did go on the website not too long ago. Hope it is a temporary thing. Even if they were phasing out their CB1100 stuff, they had stuff for many other current bikes.

That is interesting that the "Out of stock" items may actually be available. Like others I took it to mean "not available".

Cultural difference I'm sure and one I'm glad to learn. I've bought a few things from Takashi over the years and have enjoyed dealing with him.
