My samurider order:
#41
Another affirmation here that Mr. T is rock solid. I was ready to pull the plug on a $450 left side saddlebag, but when he realized I had the OEM luggage rack installed, he told me not to do it because of incompatibility. Excellent communication and service.

My biggest problem (and now they are fully resolved) is how lax they are about quoting the "full price". First it was $380.00 (with the striping) then after getting to the end of the Pay Pal invoice, it's $515.00. After explaining this to Mr. T he sends me an E mail saying that it's $380.00 without the stripe plus $140.00 for the stripe. When I mentioned the stripe he sent me an E mail saying that the stripe is 140 +. I did not understand the shorthand that was to indicate 140 + the 380 !

Here's another one, "We have the fairing in stock, and will take 3 to 4 weeks to complete. I know it's small stuff, but he should have someone around to catch these kinds of gaffs. My biggest beef as I said before is the complexity in payment (Pay Pal) and how the bottom price is not told outright. And before I get messages explaining the "simplicity" of Pay Pal . To this old man there is nothing "Easy Picy" about a difficult and complex set of instructions geared directly to someone already familiar with the computer culture. Other than this I have no problems!

P.S I almost forgot to mention, Mr T gave me a $30.00 discount due to the Pay Pal complication.

I don't find it to be the best system either. Webike is the other company that i used. They are much easier to order with. Prices are upfront and you can just purchase with no quotes and back and forth emails. All in all I do not like having to order my parts from Japan but I have no choice being that i can't obtain these items from any U.S. suppliers. Oh well.

I've ordered dozens of items from Mr. T and never experienced the communications issues you've experienced.

The Samurider listing for the RC2 is:

Standard clear(transparent) windscreen;
Non painted / 35000yen, Single color paint / 39800yen
*3 colors paint(with stripe): +16000yen.
*Smoked(tinted) windscreen:+2000yen.
*Aero touring windscreen: +2000yen (40mm taller)

So single color with stripe is 54,800 yen or about $460 not including shipping

I think Samurider is a good company but I like to be able to pick up the phone and talk to customer service if need be and I like to just press a button and be done with it. I just ordered my front fender with them and was a good experience so far but having to email back and forth for quotes and waiting a day or two for responses was annoying. They should have an add to cart option with an I stand converter for funds plus standard shipping already posted for US buyers. Webike has that so why can't they. Webike also offers free shipping on orders over 400.00 so if your combining items you can save alot. Webike doesn't carry all the same products so no choice but to use them too. I wonder how it would be if you run into a problem with damaged items or lost in mail items, sending back to japan could be an issue and trying to call customer service would create another challenge. I know Mr T is good but I personally just with k could get this stuff in the US, would just be much easier.
Again my spell check changed my wording. Guess I should proof read all my posts. Sorry, was supposed to say money conversion or something like that.
