Left or Right Mount Up ?

I get off or on the bike either one side or the other, although more naturally on the left. But the important thing is safety (if on the side of a road, for example) and also ease of access, when the bike is parked in a crowded place.

I remember watching Roy Rogers on Saturday and then putting my very large tricycle at the end of our pick nick table and trying the same move! (enough said)
