Shipping/transporting a CB1100

One other thing. Some shippers will tell you they need to drop off at a motorcycle dealership address. Not because they need to use the loading dock, but because they feel at a dealership there's enough room to maneuver for their semi rig with 50 foot trailer. Keyboard told me that, and I set it up with a dealership. Then, when the driver called me that he was and hour and a half out, I convinced him to drive instead to a large commercial parking lot nearer my home, as I already saw that the lot was empty.
