Wyvern 4-4 Exhaust On The Way... - M3-SRT8_imp - 07-19-2015 Until it gets here, I was wondering whether I need to pick up anything extra to install it on the bike. Stuff like exhaust sealant, gaskets, special tools, etc. Do I need anything else? Thanks.
RE: Wyvern 4-4 Exhaust On The Way... - CB4ME_imp - 07-19-2015 Four header crush gaskets and a tool to remove the O2 sensor. I wouldn't think exhaust sealant is needed. RE: Wyvern 4-4 Exhaust On The Way... - rboe - 07-19-2015 Have it shipped to my place. I'll figure it out for you. Then do some long term testing to make it's right.

Chip RE: Wyvern 4-4 Exhaust On The Way... - the Ferret - 07-19-2015 In the past I have used a pointed pick with a bent tip (like dentist might use for scraping tarter from between tour teeth) hook it on the inside and pop it out. RE: Wyvern 4-4 Exhaust On The Way... - lash_imp - 07-19-2015 If you take a flat screwdriver and tap it with a small hammer, tip on the inside lip of the gasket, will put the gasket enough out of round that you can use a dental pick or such to pop it out. The gaskets are very soft and all you need is enough space between it and the head to get a pick in behind it. I made my own O2 tool. Worked perfect. RE: Wyvern 4-4 Exhaust On The Way... - M3-SRT8_imp - 07-19-2015 Thanks. Any Torque Specifications I should use?
RE: Wyvern 4-4 Exhaust On The Way... - lash_imp - 07-20-2015 Book says exhaust pipe joint nuts, headers to engine, is 16 ft/lb. Looks like a bent pick with a handle built in. RE: Wyvern 4-4 Exhaust On The Way... - M3-SRT8_imp - 07-20-2015 Waiting, waiting...
